Elected Officers

Kristina Pritchett, FRP, President

Kristina is a Miami native and a Florida State University Alumni. She has more than 24 years of experience in commercial and residential real estate and transactional law. She began as an elementary school teacher immediately after college and later moved to the real estate industry by taking a position at a title company. Prior to joining the firm of Hinshaw & Culbertson, LLP as a commercial real estate paralegal, she worked in a few small to medium sized firms, was a managing partner in a title company and was a senior paralegal supervisor at Adorno & Yoss, LLP. She is a Florida Registered Paralegal with the Florida Bar since 2010 and maintains her status through continuing education. Kristina has completed major commercial and residential transactions, helped in the negotiation of complex contracts and leases and has assisted in representation of major banks, mortgage companies, investors and real estate developers. She has also worked directly with governmental agencies in contract and document negotiations. Kristina joined MDLSA in October 2014 to learn more about the organization and meet new people, and was the Treasurer last year. She enjoys the people associated with MDLSA and values its purpose so much that she gladly took on the role of President for the current term. When she isn’t consumed with work, she is spending time with her husband Kevin, her four children and her extended family and friends. She also is a community volunteer, a member of the Moose and Elks lodge and an avid Miami Dolphins fan.

Sandee Polin, FRP, Vice-President

Sandee began her legal career in 1979, primarily for plaintiff-oriented, personal injury firms. She switched to insurance defense for approximately 6 years before returning to her current position in January, 2016 as paralegal for the firm of Jugo & Murphy. She now works mainly on wrongful death and medical malpractice matters. Sandee joined MDLSA in 2015 for continuing education opportunities as well as to meet others within the legal field. Interested in becoming a larger part of MDLSA, Sandee served as Recording Secretary from 2016 - 2017 and currently serves as Vice-President on the 2017 - 2018 Board. She has also been a member of FALSS since July, 2015, after attending their Quarterly Conference in The Villages, Florida. Sandee has been a Florida Registered Paralegal with the Florida Bar since 2011 and is currently studying to become board-certified in Civil Trial Law. Sandee is the proud mother of four children and two grandchildren. When she can remove herself from her work, Sandee loves spending time with her husband of 20 years, family and friends.

Elissa M. ‘Reece’ Otto-Villamor is a Florida Registered Paralegal with more than 18 years of experience assisting attorneys in a wide range of real estate matters, including closings of acquisitions, sales, and loan transactions for sophisticated commercial and high value residential real estate. She reviews loan commitment letters and term sheets, due diligence documentation, status memoranda, title documents and surveys. Ms. Otto-Villamor prepares real estate and loan closing checklists and critical date schedules, title objection letters, and sale and loan documentation for attorney review. She has assisted on a wide variety of transactions, including condominium project development and developer unit sales closings, multi-family residential town home, condominium and lease projects, retail, commercial and unimproved real property for development purposes, and Section 1031 Like-Kind Exchange transactions.

She switched to Billing for about 6 years before returning to her current position in May, 2015, as Office Administrator for the firm of Golden & Grimes LLP. Donna joined MDLSA in 2015 to meet others within the legal field and for networking. Interested in becoming a larger part of MDLSA, she served on the Public Relations, Special Projects, and Ways & Means committees and currently serves as Treasurer on the 2017 - 2018 Board. She has also been a member of FALSS since July, 2015, having joined after attending their Quarterly Conference in The Villages, Florida.
