April 2012
At the April Installation Meeting, Judge Joseph Farina performed a wonderful installation and worked his charm on all of us. He briefly shared information regarding the e-courtesy system with us. We were glad to know that all the judges in the 11th Judicial Circuit (all 25 divisions) are now only accepting courtesy copies electronically. Each judge has their own webpage with all appropriate information. Judge Farina explained the exception to this and things to be aware of when filing. He also told us that the Legislature has reduced the Clerk’s budget and it may be necessary for the clerk to close the office one day per week to compensate for the reduction of funds. Judge Farina always keeps us up-to-date on what is going on with the Court and the Legislature and we are so appreciative for everything that he does for MDLSA.
